Jorji to the rescue!

Posted on behalf of June and Fred

In 1965 the Pitts family was visiting the Bringhurst family at Mather AFB in Sacramento. June was threatening a miscarriage and had to rest. That was difficult with three little children and Fred leaving for an AF school and Mom Geddes leaving for girl's camp. Jorji to the rescue! Her family left her with us to help out a short time. Another girl was helping with the dishes, etc., but Jorji helped so much with the children and was an absolute joy to have with June. She was only eleven years old but so very dependable and fun. Without her mother there her long hair became very tangled, and June felt terrible and didn't know what to do! We couldn't get the tangles out until we found out from the beauty shop to use lots of cream rinse. It worked! All was well! June stayed pregnant, and we were ever so grateful that Lisa was born!

We are ever indebted to Jorji! We have watched her grow into such a beautiful woman who continues to serve so many people. To know her is to love her! She has been such a wonderful mother who would certainly know about the cream rinse thing!

Please take care, Jorji, and let all the family and friends help you to feel better -- as you have done for them and so many others. You are generous and kind and such an inspiration and good example of Christlike qualities.

We love you,
June and Fred
